Impact Hacks is an UC Berkeley student-run, all-female high school hackathon. Attendees are asked to build a software project for social impact in one of three categories: Tech + Health, Tech + Education, or Tech + Environment. We hope to encourage more women to pursue computing fields as well as promote the use of technology for ethical purposes.

Applications for this year's hackathon are now closed.
You don't need to have a team formed beforehand - you can form teams during the hackathon. Each team may have 2 to 4 individuals. If you want help in finding a team before the hackathon, you can indicate that on the application form!
None at all! Beginners are welcome. There will also be workshops where you can improve your skills, mentors throughout the hackathon to help you personally, and you can also learn from other students!
This event, including all food, swag, and prizes, is completely free!
